Only it will stop running in the background to search the junk files and unwanted entries.

To get rid of junk files, you will have to manually run CCleaner and scan the system. It’s very simple and lots of people prefer to run the CCleaner manually for cleaning their PC. Here are the steps to disable CCleaner Alert popup on Windows computers:

Step (1): First of all, open CCleaner software on your PC.

Step (2): From the left pane of CCleaner window, click on Options icon and then select Monitoring tab.

Step (3): Now from the right pane of Monitoring tab, uncheck two options titled as: Enable system monitoring and Enable active monitoring.

Step (4): When you will uncheck “Enable active monitoring” option, then a warning dialog-box will appear. Click on Yes button.

  1. What about the pop-up telling me the browser has just closed. Duh, I know, I just closed it!

    frankly, after a couple of messages, it becomes annoying.
